Sutton Hoo

I have been involved with the exhibitions at Sutton Hoo for over ten years. I work with a diverse and profession al group of artists to create a number of themes based around the fantastic Anglo Saxon finds at Sutton Hoo, near Woodbridge in Suffolk.

Over the years I have read extensively around Sutton Hoo with the finds being my predominate inspiration. However, over the years I have been fascinated by the people and the stories behind the work and the site as well.

Each year we set ourselves a theme to coincide with the artefacts on display from the British Museum or the theme set by Sutton Hoo for the summer celebrations.

Artists involved include Cyndi Speer, Colin Slee, Louise Mock and Gillian Plummer.
