All About Alison Calvesbert-Rearden

Opening once again at my original (and best) studio at my family home in Bawdsey - come and see me for a cuppa and a chat.

Collection of textured prints and photos and all coastal influences.

Inspired by the coastal environment of Bawdsey and working with the detritus from the beach creating imagery forming a constellation in memory of a rapidly disappearing environment.

Lots of things give me inspiration for my work but all reflect my 30 years of living with the Suffolk coast. Printmaking is my professional medium but I also work with ceramics and plaster, printing onto any surface and mixing media to create a final outcome to reflect my passion for the coast.

I work with a variety of themes locally including Sutton Hoo and other inspiration but all have a reflection of the ebb and flow of times and tides throughout.
